    Design Features

    Obverse: Displays the Cyprus coat of arms—a dove holding an olive branch, symbolizing peace—flanked by laurel twigs. The country name appears in Greek (ΚΥΠΡΟΣ), Turkish (KIBRIS), and English (CYPRUS).

    Reverse: Features the Cyprus Pied Wheatear (Oenanthe cypriaca), a bird endemic to the island, perched on an olive branch. The denomination “20” is prominently shown in a bordered style.
